CLASSIC
"Classic" dubstep typically does not feature the same aggressive bass lines and sounds that has emerged in more mainstream dubstep within the past 5 years. Very early forms of dubstep evolved out of Jamaican dub and UK 2-step garage, characterized by sub-bass (below 90Hz) and the 2-step kick-kick-snare pattern in each successive measure.
